Work
Mythos Ventures – entrepreneur-in-residence. My most recent project was organizing a 50+ person, one-day prosocial tech workshop, ie. developing ideas with outsized social welfare returns or that meaningfully mitigate existential risk. We'll release a request for startups soon!
Copysmith.ai – Cofounded one of the earliest successful GPT-3 companies. I led and scaled an engineering and product team of 12, and programmed mostly with React, TypeScript, Node, and Python. We were acquired by Harmony Venture Labs in 2021 after six months and I transitioned into an advisory role in 2022.
Convergent Research – Led special projects, which included running a three-day retreat for 40+ scientists, and writing and designing a 60+ page funding opportunities catalog.
Ritual Technologies – I built our supply chain management system end-to-end using JavaScript and SQL, amongst many other internal tools.
CoLab Software – We built a fast, effective platform for 3D design review using React and Python, and I owned pieces like realtime collaboration and building out permission hierarchies.
Boundary Layer Technologies – Used C++ and ROS/EtherCAT/SPI to program flight computers used by hydrofoil cargo ships to communicate with remote I/Os.

• Breeze Ventilator – Developed Raspberry Pi interface for a medical grade ventilator as part of the software team using React.js,
HTML/CSS, and Electron, and created interface mockups using Sketch. Amongst top 5 teams from over 1020 competing for $200,000 in funding in the Code Life Ventilator competition, over the course of a month.
• Maverick – A 3D-printed robotic arm with six independently coordinated servos, controlled remotely via electromyography sensors.
Using the K-nearest neighbours algorithm to classify and denoise arm movements.
• Chikoo – NLP SMS chat bot developed in Python using the NLTK library, Flask, and Twilio. Awarded first place in economic empowerment and logo design for Hack the Globe
• Emergent Deception from Semi-Cooperative Negotiations— We analyze the behavior of large language model such as GPT-4 in semi-cooperative negotiation settings, using the deal or no deal environment.
• Future Forum – Led space design for a 300+ person, three day tech conference.
• Physics Circle – Facilitated an eight-week physics circle where we met researchers and worked on problem sets.
